Life: Connected Lives

The world is ONE and all lives are connected is the theme of this painting. Though there are cities and countries with boundaries but all human are the same irrespective of the caste, creed or look. In line with this theme, all figures inside the circle (denoting the world) are similar looking with abstract bodies and faces, dressed in different colours denoting their individuality but still the same. The space outside the circle reflects the aerial view of these cities, which are separate but connected, interspersed with their own dynamics. The painting is reflective of the world around us and nudges the viewer to look at the world with this perspective. The colours used are subtle with some stark contrasts brought in to drive the message. The strokes have been mainly intuitive with a play of definition for specific elements.
